Solar renewable energy is absolutely clean, safe and unlimited and therefore helps to minimize the product carbon footprint (PCF). Photovoltaic energy helps to reduce greenhouse gas emission.
HerkuPlast commits itself to minimize these emissions. For this reason all roofs of the factory and warehouses are covered with photovoltaic modules. These modules provide us the energy necessary to produce our propagation trays.
The polystyrene we use comes from first class recycling sources. Durable trays use up to 70% less material compared to one-way flats !
At the end of their lifetime QuickPot® and HerkuPak® trays can be washed, grinded and again be used for the production of recycled film. Thus creating a perfect closed circle.
